LGBTQ Process and Coping Skills Group for Teens at Isabel Drive

For Teens Ages 13-17
This group will provide a safe place to talk about the struggles that the clients experience on a daily basis as a result of their sexual orientation and/or gender identity.
This group will be a process and psycho-education group; that is, we will have open discussions but also focus on development of coping skills.
Mondays, 5:30-7 p.m.
- We are now taking referrals and will set a start date when the minimum participants are enrolled.
- The group will be limited to 10 clients.
Group members must be ages 13-17 years old and self-identify as LGBT or be questioning their sexual orientation and/or gender identity. Each group member must be an active client in Philhaven outpatient services and able to communicate effectively in a group format. Members cannot have active psychosis, active addiction or active suicidal or homicidal ideation.
