Center for Autism and Developmental Disabilities Accessing Care

Early diagnosis is important and begins with a proper assessment of the client.

Accessing Care

We believe that all care should begin with a thoughtful assessment of the client. Early diagnosis is important for children with developmental disabilities. It allows them to begin receiving specialized therapies and support that will help their overall improvement.

Appointments are typically 45-60 minutes with a member of our multidisciplinary evaluation (MDE) team. The team will develop a plan with the individual and/or family that will best meet their current needs. Referrals are not necessary. Parent or legal guardian makes a request for services and completes intake paperwork.

Path to receive services

  1. Initial Evaluation
  2. Diagnostic Appointment
  3. Psychological Testing - ADOS/ADIR
  4. Psychiatric Evaluation
  5. Feedback Appointment
  • Because of high demand for services, we have a wait list for new patients.
  • CADD does not require physician referrals for new patients.
