Treatment and Care

Medication
Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) is available for the treatment of substance use disorders, including opioid use disorder. MAT for opioid use disorder, such as prescribing buprenorphine as part of the treatment plan, has been proven to be an effective option that is considered the "gold standard" in care.

Primary care providers are at the center of your care team at WellSpan. If you do not have a primary care provider, we can help you find one.

Counseling
Many people who have a substance use disorder could also benefit from treatment for their emotional health, too. Specialists can help you uncover what led to your addiction and what elements should be added to your treatment plan to best support your recovery. WellSpan Philhaven offers behavioral health services throughout the WellSpan Health service area. We work with your addiction recovery team and your primary care provider to offer care for the whole person.

Recovery Support
From help with legal needs to transportation, getting a job and fixing relationships, we connect you with the help you need.

Rehabilitation & Medically Supervised Withdrawal Management
For those seeking medically supervised withdrawal management, inpatient or residential rehabilitation, we can offer referrals to a facility near you.
