This is an online (Zoom) training. Camera and speaker are needed to participate. You will receive an invitation after registration.
Trauma Informed Care (TIC) is an approach that assumes that an individual is more likely than not to have a history of trauma. TIC recognizes the presence of trauma symptoms and acknowledges the role trauma may play in an individual’s life.
TIC requires a paradigm shift from “what is wrong with this person” to “what has happened to this person.” Participants will learn how to recognize trauma and how to respond.
This training is provided at no cost to you as a community benefit of WellSpan Philhaven and through the support of generous donors. WellSpan Philhaven underwrites this program as part of our commitment to improve the mental health and resilience of our community.
