Program: Center for Autism and Developmental Disabilities (CADD)
Hours: Day (generally 8am-4pm)
Outpatient setting that offers a variety of services to people and their families on the autism spectrum. These services include: outpatient therapy, psychiatry, psychological evaluations and assessments, consultation, BHRS, group therapy.
Children, adolescents, young adults, adults on the autism spectrum and their families.
Program's Therapeutic Approach
ABA centered multi-disciplinary approach.
2 Master's level, advanced 2nd year students who are able to be available for 2 semesters for 2 days per week.
The Intern Will be Required to:
- Observe and participate in a multidisciplinary approach to care
- Provide care to individuals and families in an outpatient setting including individual , group and family therapy
- Participation in clinical meetings and educational trainings related to autism and ABA
- Interns will be able to visit and learn about other Philhaven programs and community resources, observe clients in the community and become familiar with research related to ABA and autism.
